The activity of enemy saboteurs in the border areas of Ukraine is a real threat today, to which the border guards train to respond quickly and effectively.

«The direction, where the greatest activity of the enemy's sabotage groups is recorded, remains Sumy region. However, the cases of their exposure in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions do not cease either," said Andriy Demchenko, the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service. He said that the border guards were constantly training to improve their level of military training, tactical skills, shooting accuracy aimed at detecting and eliminating the threat from the enemy. Border guards train to detect the enemy by observing both from the ground and from the sky. Air reconnaissance also improves its skills by working day and night.

«We conduct such training regularly in order to learn coordination, a faster and more effective response to changes in the situation», - says the air scout nicknamed Kolokolchyk. In particular, he uses a copter with intelligence to identify saboteurs and correct the actions of his comrades. Kolokolchyk says that his drone can see in the dark, recognize people, vehicles, boats... and that helps quite a bit.

During such classes, their participants practice tactics and interaction with neighboring positions, aerial reconnaissance, and armored vehicles, so that in the event of the appearance of enemy forces, everyone knows how to act, effectively detect and eliminate the enemy, protect their comrades and avoid a bullet or shrapnel.

Periodically, an instructional group from the management of the border detachment is involved to conduct such classes. The head of one of the anti-sabotage reserve trainings nicknamed Santo noted that all the personnel involved had combat experience, but the fighters were constantly improving their skills and cohesion.
